I've been searching for a new skin care line for acne (I've used almost about everything – went to the dermatologist and got something prescribed, the horse pills worked but the creams SCARRED my skin. ugh. Used proactiv and worked for a little bit then got rid of the pimples – but left scarring of each people. Used many drugstore products but.. wanted something professional and guaranteed) and I was wondering WHAT you use and if that works for you or what you dont want me to use because it was a total disaster. I have some acne around my mouth,blackheads on my chin, and redness right below my eyes but like on my cheeks. i want something that will actually work but right now i am using proactiv and then i kind of switched to the clean and clear blackhead scrub and the morning burst face cleanser but i dont know if they really work.
What is the best skin care (acne) treatment? Pro Active? Or do I want to go get facials at a professional? Also is there anything I can do around the home (like rub sugar on your skin to get rid of the dry) that I could do that might improve my skin? HELP PLEASE!
Acne is caused, basically, by dirt in the skin pores.
A steam bath by regularly getting a vessel full of steaming water and putting your face over it, covered with a towel will help the pores to open up and release the dirt particles there.
Also, rinsing with a saline solution of a glass of water with 6 tablespoons dissolved in in while heating it to warm, will help clean out any viruses and bacteria.
